Trophies of War

This selection of etching and drypoint prints are a contemporary take on Goya’s Disasters of War series. The graphic and horrifying imagery used here was taken directly from mobile phone photographs taken as ‘trophies’ by Sri Lankan Army soldiers in the bloody final stages of the Sri Lanka civil war in 2009.
